Othello 14479's Story
No jealousy, no tragedy, no dramatic Shakespearean downfall here. Othello is much more interested in collecting friends than starting a feud. This handsome chocolate boy is curious about absolutely everything and wants to be wherever the people are. He's sweet with a good amount of pep for a senior and does well with other dogs, too. His biggest plot twist? Despite the drama associated with his namesake, Othello is simply happy to see everyone. People, dogs, new smells, whatever's happening nearby, he wants in. All the friends, none of the tragedy.

Here's some notes from his foster :

Othello is a sweet senior dog looking for his second act, and from the moment he settles in, it's easy to see why he deserves a wonderful one. He can be a little wary of folks he hasn't met, but approach nice and slowly and he'll soon be asking for scratches and belly rubs, tail wagging, and giving the best kisses.

On walks he's been easygoing around other dogs, happy to sniff and say hello. He lives in a solo dog household, so we don't know what he's like sharing space longer term. He does love his food and would prefer to enjoy it in peace, so he appreciates a little space at mealtimes. He loves lots of treats and will take them very politely, as a Shakespearean Prince should!

He's a fan of a good squeaky toy: chasing it down, giving it a triumphant shake, and proudly carrying it back to show off before starting the game all over again. Othello is fully potty trained and has a couple of cute toilet rituals - spinning in a circle after going #2, and kicking his legs like a speed skater after #1...

Othello is ready to bring his particular blend of sweetness and silliness to a home of his own!
