To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.<br/><br/>---<br/><br/>- Loves spending time with people and loves butt scratches <br/><br/>- Super into cuddles and sometimes thinks he's a lap dog; will snuggle his face between you and the couch <br/><br/>- Sleeps in bed with his family and can be a bit of a bed hog <br/><br/>- Enjoys chasing tennis balls and chewing on soft squeaky toys and KONGs <br/><br/>- Takes treats very gently <br/><br/>- LOVES spray cheese <br/><br/>- Gets VERY excited when guests come to the house <br/><br/>- Does best with a harness on walks <br/><br/>- Does a great job traveling in the car <br/><br/>- Foster family says he is potty trained and crate trained and will respond to the command "kennel up," just remember any dog may take time to adjust to a new schedule and routine <br/><br/>- Used to staying in his kennel while his foster family is away from home <br/><br/>- Young, noisy or busy children can be too much for him (mature home recommended) <br/><br/>- Tends to be socially awkward and can be particular about his dog friends; would be most comfortable with a slow introduction to new dogs and may prefer to be the only dog in his home (dog intro required) <br/><br/>- Enjoyed playing with a puppy that visited his foster home <br/><br/>- We don't know his history with cats <br/><br/>This pet qualifies for our 7-day Foster-to-Adopt program. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed.
