Meet Oso!

This 3-year-old, 68lb German Shepherd mix is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find his forever home.

Oso is the most special guy. He’s a little shy at first and appreciates a respectful approach to build trust. But once he feels safe, he’s incredibly affectionate and loyal. Every morning he greets his foster mom with tail wags and belly rub requests — a total softie once he knows you’re in his corner.

He’s currently in foster with another large, calm dog and a confident, dog-savvy cat. While we don’t know how he’d do with all cats, he’s shown he can live peacefully with the right match, given slow and proper introductions.

His foster mom has been helping him build confidence through gentle exposure to the outside world — neighborhood walks, coffee shop hangs, and quiet outings at the park. He’s taken it all in stride and continues to show steady progress.

Oso is looking for a patient, loving home that will give him the time and space he needs to keep growing. In return, you’ll gain a devoted, gentle companion who’s already showing just how special he truly is.
