Oso's Story

Fort Lauderdale, FL - Due to no fault of his own, our boy Oso (pronounced Oh So) is in immediate need of a new foster home or better yet a fur-ever home. Oso is a young (he will be turning 2 this month), energetic boy that like most typical boxers can be a bit jumpy. We are working on his manners but anyone who has or had a young boxer knows how that goes. LOL
Oso came to us with GI issues that were attributed to a sensitivity to chicken/feathers. After some trial and error he is now eating a limited ingredient food and is doing so much better.
We were told he lived with a small dog and a cat. He has shown no reaction to other dogs but we have not tested him with cats. We would recommend caution with small children or the elderly just because he might knock them over.
Oso did have some initial separation anxiety when his current foster mom left the house but he now knows she will be back and he's fine when left for several hours. He behaves when left alone in the house and does not need to be crated.
If you are interested in this "Oh So" handsome boy please fill out either the foster or adoption application at www.boxerfriends.org
