Oscar's Story

***Oscar is in a foster home, so he is not at the kennel. If you are interested in him, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you.***

What a little cutie brindle boy! Oscar is 9 weeks old and weighs about 10 pounds, but he is growing quickly!

Oscar is very sweet and sensitive. He loves to play tug and lay in the grass. He's a very fast learner and responds well to positive reinforcement. Quite intelligent! In new situations he can be reserved and sometimes fearful, however, shows great loyalty to people he trusts. A bit of an old soul who likes to go off and nap by himself. An owner who has experience with shy/anxious dogs would be a great match and he will need a family with more mature, teenage kids who are at least 13 years old. (Oscar is potty trained, though he does not ask to go out.)

Oscar is all puppy - curious, playful, entertaining, and a lot of work. He is looking for a forever home that will provide him with the love and guidance he needs. Puppies require and deserve a lot of time and energy, but they will repay their families with a lifetime of unconditional love and happiness. Oscar is looking for a family to make a best friend for life!

If you are interested in Oscar and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
