MEET OSCAR & NELSON! <br/><br/>Oscar and Nelson came to STS together, and while these sweet boys would absolutely love to find a forever home together, we've learned that it is NOT a requirement! <br/><br/>After spending some time apart, they've shown us that they can do well independently and can be adopted together OR separately into the right homes.<br/><br/>And these boys have so much going for them! <br/><br/> Great with other dogs<br/> Great with kids<br/> Sweet, friendly and loving<br/> Happy together, but able to thrive separately<br/><br/>Of course, finding one amazing family willing to welcome them both would be wonderful—but we don't want that to stand in the way of either boy finding his perfect forever home.<br/><br/>They are about 5 years old and 25lb.<br/><br/>So, if you've fallen in love with Oscar OR Nelson, don't hesitate to apply! And if you have room in your heart and home for both...even better!

Stop the Suffering's Adoption Policy
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, negative heartworm, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only. STS is a foster based, volunteer run, rescue. As such, we do not have a physical location or hours for you meet any foster dog and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is complete you are able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application. We complete vet and reference verification. 3. Once approved, we schedule a home visit and meet and greet. WHAT WE REQUIRE: To ensure the safety and health of your new family member, we require that pets currently in the home be altered, up-to-date on vaccinations, on appropriate heartworm and flea prevention, and that all pets be kept indoors. We will require physical fences for specific dogs that we feel will be necessary to ensure their safety.
