Oscar's Story

Meet Oscar!

This mixed breed, low rider has short stubby legs, a long body, big ears and the most adorable face. He's an approx 1 year old, 22 lb magnificent mutt... in our opinion, the best breed!

Oscar may be a little shy at first with new people but once he warms up, he's full of wiggles and snuggles for you. He loves to play with his toys, loves his walks and hikes, is crate trained, good in the car and doing extremely well with his potty outside. He is being fostered with dogs of all ages and sizes and is good with all of them but he especially loves snuggling up with his foster mom. Oscar is a medium energy dog. He's not going to run you ragged with exercise needs but he does enjoy his walks and playing with his toys. He would be ok in an apartment if he got his daily walks or in a house with a yard.

Oscar was pulled from a shelter in Modesto by the good folks at Hair of the Dog Rescue. He was brought in as a stray. He was a favorite at the shelter and at the rescue he is currently at for his sweet disposition and happy personality. He's an all around good boy waiting to be your BFF and adventure buddy.

Would you like to meet this adorable guy?
