Oscar's Story
And the Oscar goes to... YOU (at least I hope so)!!

Hey there! Oscar here. I'm a 9-month-old, 45-pound, Shepherd/Aussie mix fella who is looking for my loving forever home. Just like the coveted award I'm named after, any family who adopts me will be a WINNER!

I am friendly, affectionate, playful (but not overly energetic like most dogs my age), and smart. I am still a puppy, so I'm still learning all the big dog skills like house training and being comfortable in a crate. I am already great on a leash though! I get along well with with other dogs and with kids of all ages. Cats, on the other hand, are too much fun to chase, so no cats in my forever home please. I need a fenced yard to run and play in. Another dog or a playful kiddo would be fun too, but I will be fine as an only dog. I would love a family who will continue my training and will take me on adventures to dog friendly places often. I would even make a great companion for an over the road trucker!

Do you wanna be an Oscar winner?? Just complete the app so we can meet and decide if we're the perfect fit.
www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/

**As a reminder, puppies will need lots of time and attention during the first year. Before adopting me, please make sure that you have enough time, energy and commitment to devote to my training. Puppies need a lot of care, so everyone in your household should be on board and ready to help out**

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip! If you're interested in meeting/adopting me, please visit www.rescueonespringfield.com/our-adoption-process/adoption-application/ and fill out the form! We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*

**BREEDS LISTED FOR EACH DOG ARE BEST GUESS ESTIMATIONS ONLY - THESE ESTIMATIONS ARE BASED ON PHYSICAL APPEARANCE AND FEATURES ALONE, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED.
