OSCAR's Story
Oscar is eight years old and, according to his previous owner, a mix of Dachshund and Miniature Pinscher, weighing 20 pounds. Judging from his coat color and two different colored eyes, the Dachshund parent was most likely dapple colored. He lost his home due to a death in the family, not because of any behavior issues. Oscar lived in an adult home and has been around other small dogs but has not lived with cats. Someone in his previous home either took him for walks or brought him along for outings. When Oscar sees his harness and leash, he immediately gets very happy and excited!! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, crate trained, and housebroken. Oscar will do best in an adult home. Anyone interested in making Oscar a member of their family needs to own their home and preferably have a secure fenced yard for play and potty breaks. If you feel this sweet gentleman would be a perfect addition to your family please fill out an adoption application through our website at www.humanesocietycitrus.com and for additional information please contact Karron by email at choose2rescue@yahoo.com or call her at 352-586-9699. The adoption donation for Oscar is $175.00
