Osa's Story

Osa is a two year old girl whose owners could no longer care for her so now she is at the shelter. She is a gentle, shy dog learning to adapt to her new environment.

Osa is not interested in toys at this point and prefers a walk to being in the yard. In the yard, she will cling to the person with whom she is most comfortable and leans in for petting. Her leash skills are good, and she frequently checks in with her walker. She is also nervous around other dogs at this point in her stay at the shelter.

Osa needs a family that will allow her to progress at her own pace and gain confidence. She has the potential to be a loving and wonderful companion.

The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
This link will take you to our adoption application.
https://capemaycountynj.gov/DocumentCenter/View/5814/Adoption-Application
