Orville's Story
AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Orville! Orville is a 4 month old male puppy and he weighs about 18 pounds. We expect him to stay under 50 pounds when full grown, but due to his unique mix, we are unable to accurately predict his actual adult weight range, so if you need a pup to stay a specific size, he is not the pup for you. Orville and his littermates arrived in rescue after being part of an accidental litter. Dad is a beagle/cavalier mix (a beagleier) and mom is a bassett hound/blue heeler mix. The pups have been raised in loving foster home and are thriving. A forever family will need to be up for all things puppy - including house training, leash training, learning what is ok to chew and not chew, as well as continued socialization. This litter is very sweet, but very energetic. They would do well with furfriends of similar energy levels, senior pups will be highly annoyed. They would also do well with dog savvy kiddos. An active home is a must - they have lots of energy!! His foster mom says:

Orville is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Orville is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $450. if you are interested in applying to adopt Orville, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
