Orville's Story

Orville was picked up by AC out of a field near the Macon airport. There were 2 adults and 8 puppies. All seemed to be chiweenies or chis. He is about 20 lbs. He initially was on top of everything in the house, counters, tables, dressers and tried to ride on his fosters shoulders. He was a monkey in a chi suit. However, he has learned house manners and appears to be very smart. He walks fine on a leash, but is nervous. He would be best with a fenced in yard. He is great with other dogs. Orville is nervous meeting new people, but once he knows you he wants to be your shadow and cuddle Buddy. He recently had two seizures and is on meds, which is very inexpensive, he has not had a seizure since. He is a talker and likes to tell stories. Apply if you want to get to know Orville.<br/>Please note: We only accept adoption applications through our website or in person (Facebook and Petfinder inquiries are not considered applications).

Completing an application is the first step toward adoption. If you haven't found the right Pixel Pup for your home yet, completing an application now will allow you to be pre-approved once that special pet comes along. We do not charge an application fee and you are able to withdraw your app at any time if you do not find the right match. To process an application, we review the information provided thoroughly. We'll email or call you to schedule an in-person or virtual home visit and we verify your information with your veterinarian (if you have pets). Also, we may email or call you to discuss your information and have a dialog about your wants and expectations for a furry friend and to clear up any missing information or questions we might have.
