Hello there! I'm Orla, and I'm so excited to tell you a little bit about myself from my perspective. Life's been quite the journey for me, but I'm ready to embark on a new adventure with a loving family.

I came to Precious Paws Rescue from Toronto Animal Services after spending most of my life living in a car. It wasn't the ideal start, but thanks to the wonderful folks at Precious Paws, I've been in foster care since November 2023. Now, I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give.

Let me give you a sneak peek into what life with me is like. First off, I'm a German Shepherd, and at 11 months old, I'm still very much a puppy. That means I've got loads of energy and a zest for life that's infectious! I absolutely adore playing with other dogs, so if you have furry friends, we're going to have a blast together.

Now, about my energy levels – they're pretty high. I'm always up for an adventure, whether it's a walk in the park, a hike through the trails, or even a jog around the neighborhood. I'm a big fan of outdoor activities, and I thrive on the excitement of exploring new places.

However, it's important to mention that I'm still learning a few things. Sometimes, I can be a bit mouthy and pushy, especially around young children. That's why it's best if I find a home with adults who can help me continue my training and guide me to be the best dog I can be.

Speaking of training, I've already accomplished quite a bit! I'm house-trained and crate-trained, so you won't have to worry about any accidents indoors. Plus, I've graduated from Obedience Level 1 with flying colours thanks to Ruff Haus. I'm a quick learner, especially when there are treats involved!

One thing that could really help me on walks is a Gentle Leader-style head harness. It'll give you better control while we're out and about, and it'll make our adventures even more enjoyable.
