Orion's Story

Hi, my name is Orion and I'm 1 to 2 years old! I might be new here, but I’m already making a big impression with my 'noble' demeanor and striking eyes. They say eyes are the windows to the soul, and if you look into mine, you'll see a boy who is ready to be your most loyal companion. I may have started my journey as a stray, but my foster family says I carry myself with the grace of a king.

I’m a young guy—only about 1 or 2 years old—and I’m discovering that life is pretty great! I have a 'lovely demeanor' (that’s human-speak for being a very good boy), and I absolutely adore my dog friends. Whether we are playing in the yard or turning heads on a walk, I’m just happy to be part of the team. I’m also a perfect gentleman in the car, so if you’re looking for a co-pilot for your next road trip!

Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds like me often have higher exercise, training, and care needs. If you’re new to Huskies or similar breeds, we highly recommend doing a bit of research before applying. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply to adopt me today!

Arctic Rescue's Adoption Policy
HOW OUR ADOPTIONS WORK: 1) We require all adopters to fill out an online application at: https://www.arcticrescue.com/adopt 2) We are a Utah-based rescue. All potential adopters must come to Utah and meet the dogs. We do not transport dogs. 3) We want to make sure that your home is the perfect fit for one of our dogs and vice versa. We want all members of the family to be happy and well matched with each-other, so require families to do a phone interview, reference checks, meet dogs and pass a home-inspection before adoption.
