Oriole's Story
Meet Oriole! Oriole is an (almost) four-month-old male Chihuahua mix, born April 5, 2026. His mama Birdie and his three siblings were taken in by Chi Town Rescue when he was just a week old. Oriole is a tiny guy, weighing almost five-pounds. He is shy at first, but the more he gets used to you, the more he will come up to you for attention. He's learning all about belly rubs and he really likes them! Oriole loves to play with his siblings and can often be found running alongside mama Birdie and his sister, Chickadee.

Please make sure you are ready for the commitment of adopting a young dog. Puppies become adult dogs and are meant to be loved for their whole life, not just until they grow up. Puppies will need lots of patience to help them learn their best doggy manners, leash-training, and house-training. Adoption fees are $500 per puppy and include vaccinations, microchip, and eventual alter surgery at the PAWS clinic on Cave Creek Road in Phoenix. Per our vet, we do not alter puppies until around five months, which helps with hormone development and bone growth. Adopters will sign a contract that you will bring your puppy to the PAWS clinic for spay/neuter surgery, sometime in September 2026. Email us at chitownrescue@gmail.com for more information/meet and greet appointment!
