Seeking a foster (or, ideally permanent) home for Ori, ideally with someone who loves and is familiar with Cattle Dogs. Ori is a friendly, intelligent, and affectionate 8 year-old female Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix who was found as a stray and never claimed. Ori is great with adults. She has a high prey drive and is reactive towards other dogs. The shelter is a highly stimulating environment where her progress will be limited. We are looking for a home, without other pets or small children, where Ori can relax and learn to focus on her handler and not on other dogs she may come across. Ori is very smart and is a fast learner. She is treat-motivated. She also knows how to relax and is very affectionate.
