Oreo's Story

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Oreo! Oreo is a 3 month old female shih tzu mix puppy and she weighs about 5 pounds, but she could grow up to weigh over 10 pounds. With her mix, it’s hard to say! Oreo arrived in rescue after being surrendered as part of an accidental litter. She has been in a loving foster home since she was 5 weeks old and has been thriving. She is an active puppy that will need a family up for all things puppyhood brings - leash training, house training, socialization and learning that flip flops are for feet, not food. She will need a family that will understand this, as well as their grooming needs. Her foster mom says: Oreo is a spunky little Shih Tzu mix who knows how to turn playtime into an adventure! She absolutely loves being chased and thinks hide-and-seek is the best game ever. Get ready to laugh as she dashes around, full of joy and energy. When she’s not in full-on play mode, Oreo loves her naps just as much, happily curling up for a cozy snooze in between bouts of fun. She’s the perfect mix of playful mischief and sweet relaxation. She will keep you on your toes with games one moment and melt into your lap the next!

Oreo is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.

Oreo is fostered in the Orlando area and her adoption donation is $500. If you are interested in applying to adopt Oreo, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
