Oreo double stuff fluff's Story
It’s official meet Oreo Double Stuff Fluff!!
And for my third vet trip of the week! Oreo returned to our primary vet Ambler Vet Clinic to have this unusual lump on his head and neck examined after I got him in to a more immediate visit for vaccinations. Dr. Madden had no significant concerns or strong opinions but together we agreed on a plan of action. His teeth could use a cleaning by next year but are not a priority or in poor condition. We will remove all of the lumpy matter and see what we see at that time. If something highly alarming is found, we can biopsy it at that time, but the general consensus is since the previous owner claimed this lump has been there since birth.-neither of us believe that but it’s possible- we will remove entirely and if all goes well, he will be stable and ready for adoption! From there, it will be a watching game to see what happens next and we will take things step-by-step as everyone does in life! We believe Oreo is possibly a little older than reported (five) maybe more like 6 to 8 but either way he has now had two evaluations from wonderful veterinary partners of ours who believe he is in strong health with a wonderful temperament and a very hopeful and happy future ahead of him. As usual, our beautiful community here in Upper Dublin pull together and the neighbors right here in town have made sure that this precious pup found his way right where he needed to be to get all the help he needed, and now I will ensure that he finds his way into a perfect family home where he will be loved furever! I can start taking applications now as I have absolutely no concerns about this minor procedure and its success and it would be so much more comfortable for him to be in the one-on-one care without so many other dogs around for his recovery. The goal at FYR is to stabilize and identify the appropriate care plan and transparently share that with prospective owners. Sometimes pets will need future follow up care sometimes they don’t but we aim to leave no unpleasant surprises and a team of professionals who can help you and already know and love your new pet!

Oreo is a 10 pound Pomeranian. He is delightful around all people. He is not super fond of cats, but has become acclimated to them during his time with me. He is easy to introduce to others, but not particularly interested in them and would probably most like to be the number one love of someone who has all the attention to devote to him. I would love to find him someone who is recently retired, possibly, and looking for a new hobby to fill their ample time.. he would be perfectly suited to be a companion to another tiny, calm dog. While he could fit in anywhere, I want to find where he will fit in best. He is housebroken and he is a communicator. He is not a barker, but he will bark when he wants to go out. He will scratch in his bowl when it is time for breakfast or dinner. He is not the most polite leash walker, but he loves his leash walks. He is also very happy to trot out into my fenced yard for his bathroom time. He did get away from a previous caretaker when he walked out the door ahead of them and wandered quickly away. But I do not believe that he would have run away if someone had noticed him straying and actually called him back before he was out of sight. He is a very responsive little guy, not so much to his name but in general, and listens very well to me overall I wouldn’t quite trust him to be off leash, but I think that with appropriate time bonding in training, he will be. He loves outings. Let’s you put him in outfits. Loves the car ride anyway you travel. This dog is meant to be somebody’s best friend. He is going to be the perfect companion to someone who needs him just as much as he needs them.

His adoption fee will reflect the perfection he is and additional care that he will need prior to being placed. Reach out for all the details and to tell me why you are the perfect person for my Oreo Double Stuff Fluff ❤️ First save of 2026 let’s Go!!
