She has had some great training and is looking for an experienced adopter who will continue helping her build on those skills.<br/><br/>Oreo is naturally protective and takes her job of keeping an eye on things seriously. Because of that, she’ll thrive with a confident, experienced handler who understands her instincts and is committed to continued training—especially recall and leash manners.<br/><br/>When she’s off duty, Oreo is all about TUG, FETCH, and PLAY! She loves having fun and does well with other high-energy dogs who can keep up with her playful style. We are strongly encouraging another dog in the home to help her adjust to her new life.<br/><br/>Oreo is a smart, loyal girl who will be an amazing companion for someone ready to keep her learning and give her the structure, activity, and guidance she loves. <br/><br/>- Around 3 years old<br/>- Currently 55 lbs<br/>- Good with dogs. Multiple meetings required.<br/>- Adoption fee: $175<br/><br/>This dog is currently at our shelter and available for adoption! Please visit during open hours — no appointment needed. We offer same-day adoptions, do not place holds, and work on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure the best fit for both the dog and adopter.<br/><br/>Questions or interested in a possible appointment on a closed day? Email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com.<br/><br/>Adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, preventatives, heartworm testing (if age-appropriate), microchip, and dental cleaning if needed. Future veterinary care will be the adopter’s responsibility.
