Meet Oreo! He is a 1 year 4 month old, 25 pound, male cocker spaniel/ beagle/ mini poodle mix.Oreo came to Rosemarie's Rescue Ranch as a local owner surrender. He has lived with the same family since he was a puppy and is now looking for a new home as his current family doesn't have the time they need to keep him. He is vaccinated, with no known health issues. He is playful and ADORES playtime. He's super energetic and does well when he has an enclosed backyard to run around. He loves to be around people though! He is just a social butterfly looking to spread his wings and make new friends!<br/><br/>Oreo is housebroken and crate trained! He is move-in ready for a new happily ever after with the right family to stand by his side. On leash, his foster reports that he is very good, and quite inquisitive about the world. Since he has energy, but he walks well on leash, and just needs training to walk next to his foster and not in front... currently a work in progress on that part.<br/><br/>Oreo's current diet consists of Pedigree dry food, (what he arrived with). His foster will feed him 3 x a day : 1/2 cup in the Morning, 2/3 cup midday, 1/2 cup in the early evening, a few small Jiffy cookies throughout the day. This satiates hims perfectly and keeps him healthy and strong! His foster shared that he LOVES to play ball- he will fetch and return nicely for a long time until he's tuckered out. He also enjoys soft chewy & squeaky stuffed animals in the house while he is relaxing with the family. Something super cute about Oreo is that he has deep, expressive eyes that can remind you that he is the embodiment of a stuffed animal that has come to life! Such a beautiful and deserving soul!<br/><br/>While Oreo is UTD on vaccinations, he is not yet neutered. <span style="font-weight: 400;">The good news is that because we are a licensed, registered 501(c)3 rescue with the state of NJ, he is eligible to be neutered for just $20 with proof of adoption (adoption contract) through the NJ Low Cost Spay/Neuter Grant Program. It's super-easy, just present our contract at a participating vet and make the neuter appt!
