Oreo's Story

Meet adoptable Oreo! He is a big, strong, friendly guy who is good with other dogs after proper introductions. Oreo is crate-trained, housebroken, and travels well in the car. He is highly food motivated and loves toys. He was at a board and train facility for two weeks and the instructor said he enjoys training; knows all basic obedience commands (sit, down, wait, come, crate, okay, yes/no); and walks nicely on leash. He needs work though walking on leash in high distraction areas. He does have a prey drive and would likely not be suited for a home with small animals. Harmony Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters need to first fill out our adoption application. HDR personnel will screen the applications to make sure they are completely filled out. We will call personal references and veterinary references listed on the adopters application. We will conduct a home visit/interview to ensure that the adopter and home will be a good fit for the dog. If the adopter has other animals, we will require a meet and greet with the animal(s) as well.
