PENDING ADOPTION JANUARY 7, 2026!!!<br/>Oreo is a 10 pound rat terrier/Chihuahua cross girl whose people decided they did not want her anymore because she was old. She is a petite toothless girl who still wants to go for a long walk every day and jumps on and off the couch by herself. Her senior blood panel tells us she is strong and healthy.<br/>Oreo loves walking but she gets stressed riding in the car and should be crated somewhere in the vehicle where she can easily see her human when traveling for her own peace of mind. <br/>Oreo is rock solid house trained and house safe. She clearly tells you when she needs to go out. It is kinder to crate Oreo when she is left alone, simply because she will stand by the door and not budge waiting for you until you come back. She is not destructive and does not chew or get into mischief when left alone.<br/>Oreo no longer has any teeth, but that does not stop her from eating well. She gets along well with other dogs in the home - she pretty much ignores them. <br/>Oreo has substantial hearing loss, but she will come when called if she can see you and you waggle her fingers at her. <br/>This is a really sweet senior who would love to be in a home with folks who were home most of the time and liked to walk. We think Oreo would probably be cat-safe, but we are just guessing. This is a girl who very much minds her own business. She is happy to spend time with her person, go for walks and share a couch in the evening and watch a good show.<br/>Oreo is in foster care in the Boise area. Her adoption fee is $100. Transportation can be arranged anywhere in the Pacific Northwest for the right adopters.
