You know what I really would like? <br/>A forever home to call my own.<br/><br/>The kind folks at Coastal Poodle Rescue helped me out of a sad situation when my owners left the State and didnt take me with them. I am a neutered black and white cockapoo and weigh about 20 pounds. I am about 8 years old although no one really knows for sure. <br/><br/>I am up to date with all my vaccines and tests and on heartworm prevention. I get along with other dogs and even cats but I think that I would get more attention if I am your only fur kid! Im so afraid that someone will take my food away that I am very protective and I think its called resource guarding. Coastal Poodle Rescue said I shouldnt be in a home with small children who wouldnt understand the protection of my food bowl<br/><br/>I am very healthy but I did have a little problem with one of my anal glands but the good veterinarians took care of it and Im totally fine now. I do not have cataracts but the lens in my left eye has hardened a bit but I see fine. So, my foster Mom puts drops in my eyes daily to help keep my eyes healthy. I really adore men and have attached myself to my foster Dad. He is such a great guy and gives me great tummy rubs.<br/><br/>I am not a runner so I really could be adopted without a fenced yard. I bark when I need to go potty outside or when I want food, and I really love food. I sleep in a bed on the floor and dont wake up all night. I even like to take a snooze during the day in my bed.<br/><br/>You see? I really am a great guy and would love for someone out there to think so too!
