Orc's Story

"I'm a survivor, I'm not gon' give up, I'm not gon' stop, oh I'm gon' work harder. I'm the survivor, I'm gonna make it, I will survive, Keep on survivin'.

Remember that old Destiny's Child song? It could be Orkin Man's theme song. Originally scheduled for euthanasia at an Atlanta shelter and thought to be a hospice case, Orc has defied the odds and is now on a hunt for a (kitty-free) retirement home.

Since initially coming to us 2+ years ago, he's finally officially heartworm-free and has packed on some much-needed pounds. His fave things are food, treats, and attention-not necessarily in that order, although be advised: Bro eats 6-8 cups a day!

Orc won't be running any marathons, but if a lifestyle of mostly lounging appeals to you, he's ya boi. Start stockpiling the toys and snackies, and apply at www.pbsfdogrescue.org to let him live out his senior years in luxury!

Potential adopters must live in Louisville, KY or surrounding counties. Please complete the application on a computer. It is not compatible with mobile devices. You will receive an email stating the application has been successfully submitted.

Pit Bulls of St. Francis's Adoption Policy
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is $200.00. We are located in Louisville, Kentucky. We are only able to adopt to homes in Jefferson and surrounding counties as well as Southern Indiana. Adoptions outside of that area are not possible. All of our adoptable dogs are in individual foster homes, so meet and greets with available dogs are scheduled accordingly.

Our Mission
Our founder started this rescue thanks to her dedication and love for saving "death-row" dogs. Now we are fortunate to be seeing our support from donors, volunteers, fosters, and adopters grow, so we are able to help more needy dogs.
