Ophelia Love aka "O" or "LaLa

Everyone, meet Ophelia! Our sweet girl appears to be around 10 years old and is a bulldog/pit mix. She is heartworm negative, house-trained, up to date on all of her shots, and has been fully vetted! Ophelia has been with us for a few months now with very little interest and we just can’t see why! She is a social butterfly, a mother hen, and a wonderful companion dog all in one! She would love to be your walking buddy more than anything. She loves the sunshine, fresh air, and LOVES water (who knew from that face)! We think in her younger years she was probably quite the sporty thing, but now she loves couches and laps and lazy Sundays as much as she loves to run and play! Ophelia doesn’t let anything slow her down. She is on joint supplements but is in otherwise amazing shape for a dog her age! She loves other dogs (she loves to mother them and give them kisses). She has not been cat tested but we have the capacity to do so! Ophelia would love another home with other dogs or without where she can get all the love, she doesn’t have a preference. She is not possessive over food or toys and just needs someone who understands she is an older pup who isn’t held back by anything. She is perfect in the car, does well in the crate, and just wants a real family to call her own. When we say she is perfect, we MEAN it! We do not know how she is still here! Ophelia is up for adoption through The Shire Rescue & Sanctuary. Her adoption fee is $100.00 and just goes to cover some of her vetting and housing.
