Meet Ophelia
Meet Ophelia!
This sweet girl is in a foster home in Dyer, IN and looking for a home of her own.
Our vet guessed she was between 1 and 3 yrs old. She is 15lbs, up to date on vaccines, rabies and has a microchip. Her spay is scheduled in the next few weeks in Cedar Lake, IN
She has done well with the other dogs in her foster home. She has a cute hop when she plays. She gives sweet kisses and enjoys being pet. If you are sitting she will ask to sit on your lap - so if you are looking for a lap dog companion she is a contender!
We have yet to hear her bark.
She does well in a crate, loves to play with toys, enjoys treats and chewies.
by her square face we are thinking she may be a boston terrier mix. But your guess is as good as ours. She came from one of our shelter partners in Arkansas. So we don't know either parent. She is full grown at 15lbs.

NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.

Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
