Opal

Opal is a purebred Cairn Terrier who has recently retired from a commercial breeding facility and is seeking a loving forever home. As she is still learning the ropes of living indoors, housetraining, etc the ideal home for Opal will have someone home a lot or a family with rotating schedules to keep her on a routine and consistent potty schedule. <br/><br/>As she still shy and frightened by loud noises and sudden movements, a calm environment will help her gain confidence. She is still not bold enough to walk, or potty while on leash, a securely fenced yard will be required in addition to a resident dog for companionship and to model appropriate canine behavior. <br/><br/>Opal enjoys being part of a pack and included in family activities. She is thriving with routine and structure, but being near her people is what she most desires. She loves squeaky toys and will wear them out!
