Opal's Story

Opal is a blue, brown eyed wonder. She is a delightful dog with lots of love to give! She is gentle, smart, friendly, and loyal, and she loves to be around her favorite people. Opal recently had a large tumor removed that was malignant. The doctor got clean margins, however, Opal is doing amazing several months later, however, she is considered a hospice dog. Opal enjoys her independence and her curiosity about the world, but she is also happy to cuddle up and relax with her humans. She is easy-going and gets along well with other dogs, and she would be a great fit for many different types of families. If you are interested in adopting Opal, please reach out to her current care giver. They would love to speak with you and tell you even more about why Opal is such a wonderful dog. Text 818.219.0691. You can't buy love but you can rescue it.
