Opal's Story
Opal is a loving, sweet and special little girl who was found roaming stray in a common area known for people dumping dogs. She had no microchip and no “owners” came forward so we were happy to welcome this sweet girl from a high kill shelter into rescue. She is happy go lucky, fairly mellow, and has the cutest expressions. Opal is around 2 years old and around 16lbs. <br/>Opal’s bio:<br/>-age appropriate energy, happy go lucky, enjoys hanging with her foster family, and enjoys playtime in the yard, and sunning <br/>-great with other dogs in her foster home <br/>-likes to be around people, she has a sweet energy and is very lovable and interactive <br/>-working on potty training and does well<br/>-doing well with leash training <br/>-good in a gated area in her fosters routine and working on crate training<br/>-enjoys treats, toys and chew bones <br/>-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard.. likes to explore <br/>-will keep you smiling and laughing with her sweet personality and will make a great companion and walking buddy <br/>-does well so far on car rides <br/>-did great for her grooming and will require an adopter who will be able to keep up with her yearly groomings (please reach out only if you have a current grooming reference).<br/>-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and heartworm negative <br/>***If interested in learning more about the adoption process for Opal and seeing some cute videos of her, please call or text Brittany at 2037276625, thank you!
