Opal's Story

Opal came to us not spayed and with a couple of mammary masses and a mass in her ovaries. We have since spayed her and had her masses removed and biopsied and all looks good! Eyes will need to be kept on her but she is ready to find her forever home-yay!

Opal is suuuuch a sweet girl and loves to snuggle and is great with other dogs. Really we think she could be good with any family! She does still need to gain some weight but now that she is with a foster they can work on that!

Opal cannot be in a home with stairs-she does not like to be picked up and stairs are a challenge for her. She may have some arthritis that causes her to really not liked to be picked up and this is the only time she will get grumpy. Other than that she is a sweetie!
