Opal is a darling Chihuahua mix, beige in color, who was abandoned in a shopping cart at a PetSmart store along with her baby. She has a lovely disposition and is friendly to everyone. She's well mannered and gentle. She is not a barker. Opal has now been spayed and fully vaccinated. She is ready for her forever home. She will greet you at the door and make you feel like you are the most important person in the world. She's also very smart. Opal weighs 14 lbs and is full grown. She is approximately 3 years old.<br/><br/>Like many rescue dogs, we're not sure how well housetrained Opal is. However, with gentle guidance, consistency, structure, and praise, she should be easy to train.<br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $225<br/><br/> This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also help us rescue the next homeless or unwanted dog in need.
