Onyx is a happy, active girl who brings a fun, upbeat energy everywhere she goes. She loves her stuffed toys (especially shaking them with enthusiasm!) and enjoys playing with both people and other dogs.<br/><br/>This smart lady already knows “sit”, is eager for walks, and rides calmly in the car. She's housebroken, too — she'll bark at the door when she needs to go out and has even learned to use a doggie door. At home, Onyx is respectful and easygoing. She sleeps comfortably in her crate at night and stays in it when her foster is away.<br/><br/>Onyx may give a few alert barks when she hears activity outside the fence, but overall she's a well-mannered, affectionate, and playful dog who's ready to bring joy to her forever home. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.<br/> If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.<br/> Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
