Onyx's Story
Onyx was an owner relinquish due to a mild incident with another dog in the home. She is a very loving girl and despite her larger size, she LOVES to give hugs. She has participated in our doggy daycare and did well at first, but has recently started having issues with being a little too rough. She could potentially go to a home with docile medium to large size dogs, but she does not like dominate dogs or being corrected. We have not had the opportunity to introduce her to any cats yet, so we are still unsure how she will do with them. Onyx would be best in a home with no children. She truly is a sweet giant that is looking for her second chance home!

All of our animals are cared for and examined by our veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. To inquire about any of our animals please e-mail us at rescuedheartanimalhospital@ymail.com or click on the link. Provide the name of the animal that you are interested in and your preferred contact information. We will then send you an adoption application and/or set up a time for you to stop in and meet Onyx to ensure that she's the right dog for you.
