Ontario (D2009)'s Story
Meet Ontario he is from the Great Lakes litter They were transferred in from a rural VA shelter. Born on April 30, 2026, these Lab/Hound mixes currently weigh between 10-16 lbs but will grow into large dogs.

The puppies are being fostered in a home with other dogs and they regularly play with children. Here is what his foster has to say about him:

Ontario: is more on the laid back side. He does his running, chasing and being chased but is also the first one to say "I've had enough, where's a toy to chew on instead?". He has a sweet personality but it took him a little longer to warm up to us, to actually enjoy being held. He would fight that in the beginning, but now is slowly starting to ask for snuggles. He's gentle when trying to get into your lap. He's also slowly figuring out that the puppy pool can be fun.

As with all puppies, hell need time to adjust to a new home and its expectations. His future family should understand that pet ownership is a lifelong commitment—one that requires daily exercise, continued training, and socialization. Remember: a good puppy is a tired puppy!

If you're interested in adopting a puppy from the Great Lakes litter, please DO NOT CALL us.
