At a perfect 14 pounds, Rascal is fully housebroken, crate trained, and a total dream on a leash. His signature wiggly walk is absolutely guaranteed to make you smile!<br/>Rascal is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He absolutely loves games of fetch, tug, or anything involving his favorite toys. Once hes had his fun, he is more than happy to curl up on the couch or cuddle up in bed right next to his people. He settles into a household routine quickly and already knows and follows basic commands.<br/>Because of dryness in his remaining eye Rascal requires eye drops twice a day. While he wasn't a big fan at first and will occasionally resist, he has become much more compliant over time with patience and a routine. <br/>Rascal previously lived with a cat and truly enjoys meeting friendly dogs on his walks, so he could likely share a home with a cat or an older, calm dog who isn't interested in competing for toys.<br/>What Rascal Needs in a Home:<br/>Rascal is looking for an adult-only home with a dog-savvy adopter who possesses a calm, assertive presence. Rascal has a history of nipping or biting when guarding high-value resources (like toys, treats, or even stray socks), when handled unexpectedly, or when pushed to do something he doesn't want to do. He needs a family who can respect his boundaries, read his body language, and use positive redirection rather than forcing him into uncomfortable situations.<br/>With a little patience, reassurance, and love, this handsome boy will completely blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion. He is ready to find a dedicated person with the experience to help him feel safeand adore all his quirky, endearing charm!<br/>Adoption $500<br/><br/>All UnderDogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm checked, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.
