Meet Olympia
Adopt Olympia! She is a 40 lb, 1 year old hound/beagle mix. Olympia loves people! She would love an active family. Olympia is dog selective so needs a family who understands that and is willing to work on training. With the proper introduction and personality match, Olympia gets along with certain dogs and loves to play with them! Due to her playfulness, she would do best in a home with kids 13 years old or older. Olympia loves to follow her people and cuddle! As she snuggles, she gets into silly sleeping positions. Olympia also enjoys to go camping with her foster family! A fenced in yard is preferred.
Several months ago, Olympia recovered from her Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) surgery. The FHO surgery helped to correct her limp and decrease the pain in her back hip. With this surgery, she has "regain[ed] essentially-normal function" in her leg. After playing or a long walk, Olympia can get a limp. This just means she needs to rest.
