Ollie's Story

Age: 1yr 3mo
Sex: male, neutered
Weight: 38lbs

Ollie is equal parts sweetheart, goofball, and professional pool party attendee. 💛

At just over a year old and 38lbs, Ollie is still very much a young pup at heart. He has the cutest mismatched ears — one usually sticks straight up while the other flops over dramatically — and they bounce all over the place when he gets excited. Which is often.

Ollie LOVES other dogs and has participated in over 50 shelter playgroups. His dream day includes running zoomies with dog friends, wrestling in the yard, playing chase, and splashing around in the pool. He would absolutely love a playful canine sibling in his future home because having dog friends nearby helps bring out his happiest, silliest self.

While Ollie is a little shy in new environments and still working on building his confidence, once he settles in he is incredibly sweet and affectionate. New places and situations can feel big for him, but with patience and time he starts to relax and show his softer, silly side. He loves treats, enjoys chasing tossed toys, and has a wonderfully awkward habit of quietly standing next to people when he wants pets. He jumps right into the car for adventures and is always ready to tag along once he feels comfortable.

Ollie came to us from a suspected cruelty case and is still learning that home life can be full of fun, cozy naps, and kind people. He’s looking for a patient adopter who will let him go at his own pace as he continues to build confidence.

If you are looking for a lovable, goofy companion with floppy ears, a gentle heart, and a deep love for dog friends, Ollie might just be your perfect match. 🐾
