Ollie's Story

At just one year old, Ollie is seven pounds of pure devotion and love. This little chihuahua adores his person and wants nothing more than to be included in all the fun things that are happening. Ollie loves getting pets and lap time but is also content to snuggle up in a cozy dog bed near his person. Ollie does well with other calm pups and enjoys engaging in some gentle play and chase games with them but has definite opinions about other pups trying to share his food (Not Gonna Happen). Ollie enjoys a good game of fetch, does pretty well during walks (big loud vehicles driving by are scary though), and is good during car rides (though he would really like to sit on your lap while doing so). He’s currently working through potty training. Ollie does pretty well using potty pads, but is not always perfect. He will potty outside but is not always quick about it and if it is raining outside… well it’s safe to say it will be a potty pad day. A home with a fenced yard may be better suited for him as he seems to prefer time to explore in order to find the best place to potty. Ollie is looking for a home where he will be a big part of the family. An adult household and/or a family with older dog savvy children would be a good fit. Ollie is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Ollie’s adoption fee is $400.00. Please go to our website aaprescue.org to learn about our adoption process.
