Ollie's Story
Meet Ollie!

Ollie is a fun-loving, playful 2-year-old with a BIG personality. He absolutely loves finding BIG sticks and could chase balls all day if you let him. Despite his size, hes convinced hes a lap dog and will happily curl up with youespecially in his favorite spot, the recliner. Hes extremely smart, food-motivated - not picky at all, which makes training easy! He knows sit, down, rollover, up and is potty trained (if you follow a schedule).

He definitely has a quirky sidehell talk to you with his woo woo sounds, and hes surprisingly scared of sneezes (yes, really!). He also has some seasonal allergies, possibly to grass, and is currently on Apoquel to help manage skin irritation and itching.

Ollie would do best as the only pet in the home, as he doesnt do well with other dogs or cats. He thrives when he can have his person (or people) all to himself.

As hes matured, Ollie has developed some resource guarding behaviors around things he valueslike toys, food, and favorite resting spots (beds, couches, chairs). Because of this, he would do best in a home without children and with someone who understands dog behavior and can continue to work with him in a calm, structured way.

Ollie would be a great match for an active individual, a female owner, or a couple who can give him plenty of exercise, attention, and consistency.

In the right home, hell be a loyal, affectionate companion who brings a lot of joy, personality, and plenty of woo woo conversations.

NOTE: This is a courtesy post. Almost Home Dog Rescue NC does not have this dog in their possession. To inquire about Ollie, please contact Crystal at cfrost997@yahoo.com
