Ollie's Story

Meet Ollie

Ollie is a very timid boy with the sweetest soul. The world can feel a little big and overwhelming to him at first, but behind those cautious eyes is a gentle, loving pup just waiting to feel safe. With patience, kindness, and a soft approach, Ollie slowly begins to show his true self - and it's absolutely heart-melting.

Once he trusts you, Ollie leans into quiet affection and finds comfort simply being near his person. He isn't the life-of-the-party type; he's the soft shadow at your side, the quiet companion who bonds deeply and loves wholeheartedly. Watching him grow braver each day is incredibly rewarding.

Because Ollie is pretty timid, he will need a calm, patient home committed to helping him build confidence at his own pace. A quieter household would suit him best. He may do well with a gentle, confident canine companion who can show him the ropes. We're not sure how he feels about cats. Due to his sensitive nature, older, respectful kiddos who understand giving him space would likely be the best fit.

If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and believe the best bonds are built with time and trust, Ollie just might be your perfect match.

Apply to adopt today, and/or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions!
