OLLIE's Story
Ollie is a 2 Yr Old Male Chihuahua / Terrier Mix. He weighs about 25lbs. He sat in a small rural Georgia shelter for a month before entering our rescue back in December. He was constantly turned down by adopters because he was a “piddler” when meeting them at the shelter. Fast-forward, Post neuter, Ollie no longer has that issue and has completely come out of his shell. If you'll let him he LOVES to snuggle.

Ollie can be timid when meeting new people and in new surroundings but since entering foster we have seen him come to life. He especially enjoys playing with with other dogs. Ollie is the perfect amount of fun and relaxation. After a good ole’ classic game of fetch he loves to curl up and cuddle with his person. Ollie does appear to be scared of young children so we would require children be 10+ years old. There's no telling what prompted this fear but we saw it displayed at a large event Ollie attended with thousands of people. He backs up and he barks.

He is crate and house trained but just like any other dog is used to a routine. His foster mom does work and he is crated while she's at work and he does great.

Ollie has been waiting patiently to be adopted. We know whenever that match is made the wait will all make sense. Ollie's such a sweet guy and deserves the world.

If you’re interested in Ollie please fill out the inquiry form here (copy paste link into browser): https://form.jotform.com/211295763938164

Ollie's adoption fee is $600 which includes his neuter (already done), current vaccinations (rabies, 2 parvo/distemper boosters, and Bordetella), negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, registered microchip, and transport costs.

As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on a video call (FB Messenger Call, Facetime, Zoom, Etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized & paid in full prior to receiving your dog.

Drop off locations through our transport program are as follows:

* Northwest Route – Moab, UT - Salt Lake City, UT – Meridian, ID – Richland / Kennewick, WA – Seattle, WA – Mt.
