Ollie's Story

Ollie : 8 week old Aussie mix
Please read all of this
Ollie is a very adorable 8 week old Aussie shepherd/ Eskimo /Pomeranian mix. He is at the rescue with his 3 other brothers. Ollie is the smallest of them all, the runt. We were told a week ago before we got him that he has been vomiting almost every day since he was born. So we gave them some tips to do for him before we could come and get them
Ollie did go to the vets and it was confirmed that he has a Mega Esophagus. So basically his food is sitting in his esophagus and not being pushed into his stomach. There really isn’t much you can do for it other than small frequent meals. (And There a few different meds to try ) You have him sitting up when eating and 10-20 mins after he is to sit up to try to get the food into his stomach. There are special high chairs they do make to hold a dog upright. We have been doing this and his vomiting has been minimal.
It will take a special person to care for Ollie. Don’t get me wrong. He is every bit of puppy. Plays. Sleeps. Gives kisses. He acts great. He will just need some TLC. I have heard that this can get better, but if your the least big interested please do your homework work
So we think he will be maybe 15-25 pounds full grown. He is 4.3 pounds as of today. And hopefuly he gains some weight giving him small frequent meals.
He is Up to date on shots and worming meds. Eats like a piggy. And that might have been a problem on the farm he was at. Didn’t monitor his eating very well

Adoption fee is 100.00 and willing to give the fee back once I know you will care for him like he needs. The fee is to just stop people from just getting a cheap puppy and not carrying for him

Please call or text foster mom Tammy 248 722 1308 to set up appointment to meet Ollie.

Not every person knows how to love a Dog, but every dog knows how to love a person.
