Yes, but please keep in mind that they must be taught to respect the dog’s space, belongings, and food.
• HOUSEBROKEN? Not 100% yet. As a dog rescued off the street and currently living outdoors or in foster homes with tile surfaces, they'll need some time to be 100% housebroken. Most of our dogs adapt to a potty routine within 1-2 weeks with consistent training.

Olivier's mother spent her entire life on the streets of Santa Cruz del Astillero, surviving however she could. At just two years old, she'd already given birth twice—eight puppies in her second litter alone, born in a tiny cave on an abandoned lot. For the first seven weeks of Olivier's life, he and his siblings watched their mother scavenge from garbage piles, trying to produce enough milk to keep them alive.

When they started wandering at seven weeks old, exploring under parked cars and into streets, the danger became impossible to ignore. That's when his foster stepped in, bringing the puppies inside before tragedy could strike.

Six weeks later, Olivier has transformed into what his foster calls "a loving little destroyer"—and she means that with complete affection.

"These dogs are truly angels," she says. "You have no idea how wonderful they are. Olivier is so smart, so full of life. Nothing gets past him."

Olivier is the explorer of his litter. He's the one who figured out on his own that sitting politely gets him his dinner faster, who learned after one trip exactly which gate leads to the park, who jumps with excitement when his foster gets ready to head out because he knows adventure is waiting.

The other morning, his foster found him trying to dig his way under the garden fence—not to escape, just to see what was on the other side. That's Olivier: endlessly curious, always investigating.

He's also got typical puppy mischief in him. He'll grab a shoe if it's left out, run off with your dirty socks, test every boundary to see what happens. But it's never destructive in a concerning way—it's just a smart, energetic puppy learning about his world. And he's learning fast.

Twice a day, he goes to the park with his brother Flynn, running laps around the soccer field, digging in the dirt, wrestling with other dogs until everyone's worn out. Back home, he transitions beautifully—playing with his toys, taking his turn for meals, settling down for naps. He's even picking up basic commands already, even without any formal training.

"He'd probably be happy running free in the streets if I let him," his foster laughs. "But of course I don't. He just has that adventurous spirit."

What Olivier needs is an active family who can match his energy and intelligence. Someone who'll give him daily exercise, mental stimulation, and consistent training. Someone who won't be frustrated by puppy antics but will instead channel that curiosity into learning. A yard would be ideal for him to explore safely.

After being born in a cave, after watching his mother struggle to feed him from garbage, after overcoming a traumatic start to become this joyful, bright, loving puppy—Olivier deserves a home where his intelligence is celebrated and his energy has an outlet.

Are you ready for an adventure with a clever, spirited companion who'll keep you laughing, keep you active, and love you fiercely every single day?

*************************

📝 Ready to apply?
