Sweet and gentle Olivia has advanced heartworms. We are doing everything in our power to help her be comfortable while we work to fix her medical issues related to having heartworms. She is very anemic with very low platelets and extremely high liver values. She is on 6 medications currently and we are already very much in love with the sweetheart. She will need to have her bloodwork rechecked every 7 to 14 days to see where she stands with her anemia and platelet count.
