Olivia's Story

Cattle Dog mix, adult femaleCoy or just deadpan humor? We’re starting to think Olivia has a brilliant stand up set but nobody’s paying attention. This girl is hilarious. She’s a storyteller and the punchline is delivered after a good 24-48 hours...or in the case of a volunteer who paid a visit yesterday, 10 min and some duck flavored training treats.
But really, she needs a chance. She’s been in rescue since November 2025 and her agents are looking for permanent residency where she can show you just how funny she is. Ideally, she’d have another playful dog companion in the home but we’re open to single dog status for the right, patient person. Olivia would thrive in a calm and quiet environment but don’t get that confused with couch potato. Sure, this girl knows how to snooze and is very well mannered in the house but she also likes to run the property, so she’ll need a moderately active household to help keep her fulfilled physically too.
Olivia is a 1.5-2 year old border collie mix looking for her big break. She is dog social and neutral around horses and livestock. Cats and critters unknown at this time. Housebroken and crate trained. She is microchipped, spayed, and UTD on vaccines.
Olivia is in Templeton, CA.

More photos and updates: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1589146862046962&type=3

Interested in Olivia?
