He's a cheerful, sociable senior who loves cuddling with his people and is eager to greet new friends and see what's happening. Where his brother Avocado tends to watch and take things in, Oliver is more inclined to join the action. Then, when the excitement is over, he's quite happy to settle in for a good nap.

Oliver is housebroken, kennel trained, comfortable with car rides, and leash trained. He loves his walks and tends to pull on the leash in his enthusiasm. He's also lived with a large dog who quickly became like an adored big brother to him. Oliver hasn't lived with cats, and a home without young children would be best. Some hearing loss is suspected, but he has completed his veterinary care, including dental care.

Oliver and Avocado are bonded littermates who have spent their whole lives together and are hoping for a home together.Oliver brings the jaunt; Avocado keeps an eye on things.

History: Oliver is a senior but is still pretty spry. He loves spending time with his brother. Oliver and Avocado are brothers from the same litter and have been together their whole lives. they were surrendered due to their owner living in a van and unable to continue providing them care. They love to play with bubbles and love being in the kiddie pools. They love bones and sleeping in a bed and being pet everywhere. They are leash trained, kennel trained, are used to car rides and are house broken. They have not lived with kids and are afraid of children who run up on them and will bark at the kids. They have not lived with any other animals only each other. In the shelter, dog assessments show a tendency to ignore other dogs. Owner reported that they have lunged and barked toward dogs in the past but this has not been observed in the shelter. They do seem to bark a lot out of excitement. They are eager to greet new people.
