After everything he’s been through, he’s the kind of dog who doesn’t take love for granted—he truly cherishes it.<br/><br/>From Stray to Safety<br/>Oliver was found roaming alone on a busy street as a young puppy—vulnerable, at risk, and with no one looking out for him. Thankfully, our rescue partners at SOS el Arca Animal Rescue stepped in and brought him to safety. Since then, Oliver has spent nearly a full year in the shelter, waiting patiently as other dogs come and go.<br/><br/>Despite growing up in a shelter environment, Oliver has remained gentle, hopeful, and loving. He has learned that people can be kind, and he’s ready to take the next step into a real home of his own.<br/><br/>Still Waiting, Still Hoping<br/>Oliver has spent far too long waiting for someone to choose him. We would love to bring him to New York on our next transport in January, but he can only make the journey with a committed adopter or foster-to-adopt home in place.
