Olive's Story
Meet Olive a 1-year-old • 17 lbs • Female • Italian Greyhound Mix

Olive is a sweet, silly, affectionate little girl with two speeds: FAST and snuggled under a blanket! She loves her people, cuddling, being held, nuzzling into your neck, and entertaining herself with her favorite toys. She’s also a talented little runner who loves a good lure course. Olive's Bio.docx

Olive is spayed, fully vaccinated, house trained, crate trained, non-destructive, and sleeps through the night. She’s smart, food motivated, knows many commands, and is a quick learner. Olive's Bio.docx

Olive is also a sensitive girl who needs a patient, calm home. Loud or sudden noises—including trucks, motorcycles, vacuums, and power tools—can frighten her, and she needs secure, escape-resistant equipment when walking. She may bark when frightened or when unfamiliar people first enter the home, but generally settles once she feels safe.

Most importantly, Olive needs to be the only dog in her home. She is highly reactive toward unfamiliar dogs and can be unpredictable even with familiar dogs. Her foster family has been working with a trainer and will provide her adopter with the training tools and techniques that have been working for her.

Olive would thrive with someone who understands sensitive dogs, is committed to positive reinforcement, and will continue helping her build confidence.

If you’re looking for a loving, funny, cuddly, delightfully quirky little companion—and you’re ready for one very special only child—Olive may be your girl.

Olive is being fostered in Goose Creek, SC.

Visit us on FB at: http://www.facebook.com/IGrescueVa.
