Olive

Today we bring to you Miss Olive a petite, Mastiff at about 4 and half years old. She was returned to the rescue through no fault of her own. <br/> <br/>Since returning to rescue Olive is VERY shy and quite afraid of men. It took me a few days to gain her trust and get a tail wag from her. She pancakes to the floor if any of my staff reach for her, they are trying to let her come to them on her own, she is just too afraid to approach them. <br/><br/>She is sweet, kind and loving with me. She does well with the other dogs at the rescue ranch although she will stay on the deck if I'm not out there with her. She will leave the deck and go off on her own and sniff the big yard if I am outside and with in sight of her. She is crate trained and right now it is her safe spot. She comes to the office with me, and lounges on the 6" memory foam dog bed, but does not seek out any attention other than mine. <br/><br/>She is housebroken, but will nervous pee when scared. She has a vet appointment tomorrow to bring her up to date on her vaccines and make certain she is healthy and ready to go to her forever home. <br/> <br/>I would not place Olive with small children due to her fear and anxiety at this time. Her first time in rescue she lived with a child and did well.
