Olive's Story

Olive is a 1-year-old sweetheart with the perfect mix of cuddly and playful energy. She loves people, adores affection, and is happiest when she’s snuggled up with her humans or playing with her toys. Olive is very dog-friendly and would truly thrive in a home with a canine sibling—she loves having a buddy to play with and follow around. She enjoys walks, is smart and eager to learn, and brings a joyful, loving presence wherever she goes. Olive does have a seizure condition, which is well-managed with daily medication and it's expected that she'll be required to continue for the entirety of her life. She is doing fantastic on her current treatment and she’s otherwise a happy, active girl who doesn’t let that slow her down one bit. She’s still working on potty training and continues to make progress in her foster home. Olive hasn’t been tested with cats, so her compatibility with cats is currently unknown. Halfway There Rescue's Adoption Policy

Adoption Process Halfway There Rescue is looking for responsible and caring individuals and families to give our dogs forever homes. Please review the initial adoption guidelines below. Thank you for considering adoption. You must be 18 years old or older in order to adopt one of our dogs. You must be allowed to have dogs where you live. The adoption form must be filled out in its entirety and emailed to halfwaythererescue@gmail.com. The online Adoption Application is for your convenience only, and does not guarantee that the dog of your choice will be available for adoption. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption to any person for any reason. All adoptive homes must be stable, compassionate, and capable of meeting the veterinary needs of the dog. A home visit may be done prior to adoption. We ask for an adoption donation of $250.
